The Question: What drives the Iron Bison Resilience initiative? The Answer: I want to make every day worth it.

For a long time, I struggled to explain my motivation without a long, winding backstory. But that single phrase captures the essence of my mission. I refuse to waste time and energy. I want to thrive, lead, and do something meaningful.

To me, making the day "worth it" means:

1. Challenging my mind daily to keep it nimble.

2. Sticking to the tools I have forged over the last few years.

3. Aligning daily actions with long-term goals.

Important Note: "Worth it" does not mean toxic productivity. When you are managing chronic pain or mental health, rest is not wasted time—it is an essential tool. And getting proper rest is not an invitation to plant oneself in a recliner for 16 hours a day. A balance must be struck between productivity and rest.

Routine tasks reduce stress, and rest restores the body. Once those are handled, we make sure whatever energy remains is spent on something that matters. Don’t just be intentional—make it worth it.
